First in my Egyptian mythology series. Apep was a mistake during creation, and is...not nice. I have to give credit to Desert-of-Seth because I didn't totally copy her Apep picture, but it was a bit of inspiration.

Apep is defeated every night by Set and Re - possibly others too, thinking Bast maybe - on the solar barque(which is why the sun is so close). The Eye of Heru markings are there because the sun and moon were regarded as his right and left eye.

It took 3-4 hours, graphite and a bit of ebony. Fucking ripped it at the top by his head. It's only an inchish, but still a pisser.
